I loved this chuckle worthy， friends to lovers and a cute little pig story with Weston and Rachel， I loved that this story was in both points of view I like to know what the other character is thinking and feeling。 Weston left to join the army now he’s back and he’s a different man so he believes that he’s no good for Rachel， Rachel is back in town to help look after her grandmother she tries to stay away from Weston because he broke her heart but the heart wants what it wants but I will let you I loved this chuckle worthy， friends to lovers and a cute little pig story with Weston and Rachel， I loved that this story was in both points of view I like to know what the other character is thinking and feeling。 Weston left to join the army now he’s back and he’s a different man so he believes that he’s no good for Rachel， Rachel is back in town to help look after her grandmother she tries to stay away from Weston because he broke her heart but the heart wants what it wants but I will let you find out the rest for yourself。 I loved this thrilling， entertaining and passionate story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read。 。。。more

4 1/2 stars rounded up to 5。 Two ex-BFFs in denial + escape-artist pig = great story！ Wow， there is so much happening in this book！ It's back to Dallas， North Dakota， the world of the Knights of Dallas series， but it's not necessary to have read those before this one。 Even though you should read that series。 There are some cameos from stars of that series， which is fun。Rachel， or Shel， Shelly， at 23， has returned to her hometown of Dallas， ND， to help care for the B&B her grandmother owns and ru 4 1/2 stars rounded up to 5。 Two ex-BFFs in denial + escape-artist pig = great story！ Wow， there is so much happening in this book！ It's back to Dallas， North Dakota， the world of the Knights of Dallas series， but it's not necessary to have read those before this one。 Even though you should read that series。 There are some cameos from stars of that series， which is fun。Rachel， or Shel， Shelly， at 23， has returned to her hometown of Dallas， ND， to help care for the B&B her grandmother owns and runs， while her gram has a hip replacement operation。 She left Dallas after high school and went to college and is interning at the Smithsonian as she is a history nerd。 She has been in love with her older brother's best friend Weston （27） since she was 12。 He broke her heart when he shipped off to the army when she was 16， promised to write her， but didn't。 She finds that he is home and a neighbor of her gram。 But both of them have serious baggage now， especially Weston， who came back home from Afghanistan a broken man。 Neither wants to admit they love the other， which was carried a bit too far and sometimes was tedious for me。 Not because of the baggage， but because they keep lying to themselves about their feelings and what they believe the other person thinks。 Just too much for me， hence 1/2 star off。 Their transition from former BFFs to hated ex-crush to lovers was good to see， though。The story is told in different points of view， and this is very well-done。 I never had trouble figuring out which person's voice was speaking （a pet peeve with many others）。 Very well-edited， as we expect from this author。 There is plenty of humor， which is always a plus for me。 I also loved the chapter titles。Needless to say， all kinds of things happen， some crazier than others， but it's all good。 There's an escape-artist rescue bloodhound pig （the best！）， angst， mystery， danger， good friends， silly jokes， and lots of steam。 You gotta read the book to find out what happens！I recommend this book - another hit for the author。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

Review of The Worst Best FriendBy Nicole SnowAnother Fabulous Addition to the Chronicles of Dallas， NDThis is another wonderful story set in Dallas， ND by one of my favorite authors， Nicole Snow。 Ms。 Snow has a gift for writing a steamy drama， interspersed with bouts of laugh out loud humor， that absolutely grabs you from the start and immerses you in the story。 She has great character development， including the secondary characters， and she continues to add to the world building in this small t Review of The Worst Best FriendBy Nicole SnowAnother Fabulous Addition to the Chronicles of Dallas， NDThis is another wonderful story set in Dallas， ND by one of my favorite authors， Nicole Snow。 Ms。 Snow has a gift for writing a steamy drama， interspersed with bouts of laugh out loud humor， that absolutely grabs you from the start and immerses you in the story。 She has great character development， including the secondary characters， and she continues to add to the world building in this small town。 If you’ve ever read any of her previous books that take place in this northern Dallas， you might remember that animals tend to play a somewhat prominent secondary character role。 This book is no different， with the animal this time being Hercules， a 100-pound pet pig who’s too smart for his own good。After completing college and serving an internship at the Smithsonian， Rachel is ready to start her first full time job there in Washington， D。C。 However， she’s back home in Dallas on a temporary leave to help run her grandmother’s B&B while her grandmother recovers from hip surgery。 Her brother Marty has invited her to attend a monster truck show。 One of the reasons she has agreed to attend is because Weston McKnight will be driving in the event。 Weston was both her brother’s best friend and her best friend until he left for the Army。 She had an enormous crush on him， which he was aware of， but he promised to write to her。 She was devastated when she never heard from him and hasn’t seen him since that day。 She noticed a stray pig down on the field right in the path of a tall front-end loader。 As she ran onto the field to try to save the pig， she ended up on the ground in front of the vehicle herself， until she’s rescued at the last minute by none other than Weston。 And their reacquaintance is off to a rollicking start。One of the things I appreciated about this book was the fact that there were very few typos or incorrect word usages。 The story was exceptionally well told， with elements of mystery thrown in and the romance was really wonderful。 Altogether， this was another fantastic book by Ms。 Snow。 My rating: 5 stars。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more
